I designed a full advertising campaign for Nick’s English Hut, a beloved local landmark in Bloomington, Indiana. My goal was to honor the restaurant’s long-standing heritage while introducing a fresh, modern feel through thoughtful layout and design. The new menu features bold typography, a warm, classic color palette, and functional details like scannable QR codes and clearly structured drink pricing—creating a balance between nostalgia and usability.
This project gave me the opportunity to merge brand storytelling with design precision, working within real-world formatting constraints while maintaining creativity and cohesion. Every design decision was rooted in Nick’s authentic, community-driven personality and the familiarity that keeps guests coming back.
Beyond the menu, I developed a creative brief and campaign booklet that extended the brand’s identity into mock advertising executions, including a website landing page and social media content. This holistic approach allowed me to think strategically about how design, messaging, and visual consistency can strengthen a brand’s overall presence across both print and digital platforms.
